• Benton County vs. Washington County: Year-End Inventory Highlights

  • In 2024, both Benton and Washington Counties experienced increased active listings compared to 2023. Benton County inventory peaked in May at 2,495 listings, a 15% year-over-year increase, before tapering off seasonally but remaining above 2023 levels. Washington County saw a similar seasonal pattern, with October marking a standout month, increasing by 17.7% compared to 2023. Despite growth, active inventories in both counties are still below pre-pandemic levels, reflecting a gradually stabilizing market.

• Market Trends Across Northwest Arkansas

  • Real estate prices and demand continued to rise in 2024. Benton and Washington Counties saw average price-per-square-foot increases of 5.2% and 7%, respectively, while Bentonville and Rogers experienced steady price growth as demand surged. Springdale offered more affordability, with declining prices but a significant rise in sales volume. Looking ahead, steady population growth and infrastructure improvements, like the Highway 612 bypass, are expected to fuel demand in affordable areas such as Centerton and Pea Ridge, with home prices projected to grow 3-5% annually.

• Artists of Northwest Arkansas Unveils New Studio In Downtown Rogers

  • After being displaced by the May 2024 tornados, Artists of Northwest Arkansas is celebrating the opening of its new gallery and studio at 300 N. 2nd Street in Downtown Rogers. The new space will host art exhibits, educational programs, and special events for members and the community, providing an expanded platform for local artists to connect and create.

• Fayetteville Approves Concept Plan For River Access Park

  •  As part of a regional Blueway initiative, Combs Park will be Fayetteville’s first river access park designed for water recreation with access to hiking, swimming, wading, fishing, tubing, and paddling. Plans include removing a deteriorating dam to improve water flow and adding natural features to the 8.5-acre site.
