Make It Make Sense!
When we bring up a topic like this it is most important to note, using an experienced realtor when buying a house is crucial. They navigate complexities, negotiate deals, provide expert advice, and ensure a smooth process, saving you time, money, and potential pitfalls. Let me be your guy in navigating the process!
Myth-Buster - It does not cost you as a buyer or renter to use a realtor. On a typical transaction, the commission is paid by the seller to the agents involved.
Familiarize yourself with the process
Hire A Real Estate Pro (Me!): My job will be to guide you through this process and offer my expertise every step of the way.
Pre-Qualification: Where are my financials and credit score at? What is within my budget to spend on a home?
The fun part, the home search!
Offer & negotiations —> Accepted offer!
Home Inspections: Arrange for a professional to take a thorough look at the home and assess what needs to be done to the property.
Submit official loan application & schedule appraisal: Stay close with your lender (If you don’t have one, let me make the connection), they will be able to walk you through every opportunity out there available to you financially.
Shop for insurance, schedule utilities, and prepare your official move.
Close on your property (Woohoo!)
Obviously, the process can have many more hoops and complications depending on the deal. In any situation, hiring the right realtor to be on your team can alleviate any difficulties you face.
In conclusion, I still believe it continues to be a great time to take the step in purchasing property here in Northwest Arkansas if it is within your financial means. While interest rates are higher and the consumer demand is relatively lower, put yourself in the position to negotiate for your next home and have the upper hand. Once the interest rate landscape changes, expect competition to flock to the market and to lose a piece of that negotiating power. The demand in Northwest Arkansas is not stopping any time soon!
