Wow, What A Week!
The second week of July proved to be a jam packed week of news that holds implications for the current and future state of the real estate market in our area.
One of the most exciting and most impactful news of the week comes on the announcement of a pro soccer team coming to Northwest Arkansas, along with the building of a 5,000 seat stadium right in the heart of Pinnacle Hills. The economic impact is expected to be $50M-$200M and create hundreds of jobs around the area. Read more about the announcement here.
ARDOT meetings being held to discuss future highway plans for the area, and talks of Tulsa & Northwest Arkansas teaming up to create a “Super Region" leveraging infrastructure and expertise to build the future of the two areas. Read about the Super Region here, and the future of ARDOT here.
On top of this, the data continues to show the momentum of the area. Building permits are significantly above the national average right now and higher than the 2020 with nearly 109 building permits per capita, while nationally there are 42 building permits per capita.
All in all, the continued momentum we are seeing and the plans being orchestrated for our area proves to be a great sign for homebuyers and investors in the area and should give confidence to those looking to to make a purchase for the long term.
